About Rose Winkeler
Rose Winkeler has over 15 years’ experience representing both public and private clients in employment matters, including federal and state anti-discrimination laws, policy and procedure development, guardianships and probate matters, elections, education, and contracts. She aims to provide trustworthy, solution-based representation that focuses on clients’ needs and unique circumstances.
Previously, Rose was the Senior Civil Deputy County Attorney for Coconino County, representing the County Board of Supervisors, Elected Officials, and various County departments and special districts. She began her career with Community Legal Services in Phoenix, representing low-income residents facing housing insecurity.
Rose graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Law and holds a B.A. from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She has lived in Flagstaff with her family since 2010 and, in addition to enjoying running and hiking on the many trails throughout Northern Arizona, she volunteers with Flagstaff Literacy Center, Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona, and the Flinn Foundation. Rose also took part in the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy in 2018 and has served on the Coconino County Judicial Nominating Commission since its inception in 2020.
